So here we are in beautiful San Antonio! Carter and I, that is... the boys are still in Lubbock. We figured they are self-sufficient enough to stay alone for the first time. JUST KIDDING! They are splitting the time between grandparents... and loving every minute of it! Palmer woke up at 5:00 this morning (sorry, Gran!) he was so excited to start the day with Gran and Big Daddy!I am having fun shopping while Carter is "conventioning" all day. It is always so much fun to see people from all over the state. We saw Christa from East Bernard which was SUCH a treat! She is such a dear friend. So many of Carter's Tech friends are here... he is quite the social butterfly each year! Last year he was SO excited to show off the boys... this year he can't get the pictures out of his wallet fast enough. What a cute proud daddy!
My favorite part of all, though, has been spending time with Carter's assistant, Samantha and her friend Meghan. Girl time is SUCH a blessing when I am surrounded by boys all the time! These girls are my fashion gurus... and they are going to "putty me up" as they put it so I can look as young as I feel, instead of thinking about the BIG birthday I have this year. LOL.
